Seller FAQs

When will we receive the tracking number once you have picked up the parcel from us?
You will receive the tracking number from the delivery partner after they have picked up the order from you.
Which courier will you be using for deliveries to ensure our parcel is not damaged in transit?
We use Delhivery, India’s largest fully integrated logistics provider, for all deliveries.
Will you be proof packing the box yourself, or will you send it in the condition we have packed it?
Proof packaging will be handled by our delivery partner if deemed necessary. For more details, please refer to our packaging guidelines.
Will our brand name be mentioned with the products on your website?
Yes, your brand name will be featured on our website in the vendor information section of your product page, on the store list, and in the invoices sent to customers.
In case of damage during transit, will you arrange for the return of the parcel to us? What is the procedure?
If damage occurs during transit, we will arrange for the parcel to be returned to the seller. We will not charge a commission for returned orders. If your brand accepts returns or refunds, please ensure you provide a video or photo of the product being packed.
How should we pack our products? Are there specific requirements?

What happens with return orders?
For returned orders, Taproot does not charge a commission. However, sellers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to damage in transit. More details can be found in our [Refund & Returns Policy].
How and when will we receive our payments?
We operate on a weekly payment cycle. You can withdraw your earnings through your seller account, and they will be transferred to your bank account.
What documents are required for onboarding?
For onboarding, we immediately need your bank details (for payments) and proof of address (for order pickups). Additionally, we will require your Aadhaar and PAN card (either personal or brand-related) for verification. The verification documents can be submitted later, but the bank details and proof of address are mandatory upfront.
How will we know if our product is being viewed or sold?
You’ll receive notifications via email, WhatsApp, and your seller account once a customer places an order, allowing you to start the fulfillment process.
How much time will we have to pack the product?
Shipping timelines vary by seller. You can set your own shipping timelines in your seller account. If you offer custom products, be sure to specify those timelines separately for customer clarity.
What is the process for listing products on your website?
